Sissu

About

Sissu is the first major stop after the Atal Tunnel's north portal on the Lahaul side — a beautiful Lahaul Valley meadow at 3,200 m with a dramatic waterfall, a turquoise lake, and unobstructed views of the Mulkila massif. Before the Atal Tunnel opened in 2020, Sissu was inaccessible for 6 months a year. Now it's reachable year-round, making it a fascinating destination that still feels wild and undeveloped.
